About CSI Aerospace

Established in 1993, CSI has been a unique company that has reverse engineered many products and developed repairs for products previously considered non-repairable. In 2003, CSI developed and obtained a U.S. Patent for a very sophisticated process for repair and overhaul of pitot tubes. Product lines includes pitot probes, pitot-static probes, and total air temperature sensors (TAT's) for many Boeing and Airbus Fleets. The overhaul process includes complete replacement of all the major components. For pitot and pitot-static tubes, components replaced include the de-icing heater, nose/probe or air inlet probe section, pitot and static lines and other internal and external components. In the case of TAT's, CSI can replace the de-icing heater and the temperature sensing element. When the unit is returned to a customer, it looks like new.

Our repair process is FAA/EASA approved. Thousands of pitot probes have been overhauled by CSI. Our major airline customers around the world have enjoyed a substantial savings by having these probes and sensors repaired...rather than scrapping them. Over 95% of the probes and sensors we receive each month can be repaired or overhauled.
